Lynn Hall Memorial Park and Pier
Located at the foot of the Fort Myers Beach Sky Bridge, Lynn Hall Memorial Park and Pier provides families with a full day's activity.
A fine spot for fishing or enjoying sea breezes, the 560 foot pier stretches into the Gulf of Mexico. Here, you will meet the comical pelican as he searches for his favorite meal...fish.
A walk along the beach provides a look into life under the sea. By investigating the wrack line - sea debris left on the beach at high tide - you can find parchment worm tubes, whelk egg cases, and countless sea shells, the abandoned homes of mollusks. Please, throw back any live shells!
The park facilities will meet all of your needs. You will find outside showers, bathrooms, a new playground for children, covered picnic areas and a nature kiosk with information about local plants, animals, and land formations.
STATUS: Open 24 hours 365 days a year. For more information , contact Lee County Parks and Recreation, (941) 463-1116. Parking is metered.
LOCATION: On the beach at Old San Carlos Road and Estero Boulevard, Fort Myers Beach, Florida, 33931.
