The Town of Fort Myers Beach would like to thank everyone who has participated in our community design workshops to evaluate and improve our Comprehensive Plan.

The April 8, 2005, presentation by Victor Dover of Dover, Kohl & Partners is being rebroadcast on Comcast Channel 11. Copies of this presentation on DVD are available from Town Hall.

Many of the plans and drawings from that presentation are now available on-line from our planning consultant's website.

Strategies for Improving Access to and Traffic Circulation within the Town of Fort Myers Beach
This document develops conceptual strategies for addressing access and circulation issues within the Town of Fort Myers Beach. While it is based on the professional experience of the authors, significant additional study will be needed to determine the feasibility and desirability of any of the strategies discussed.

Two small-area planning studies were prepared in 1998. The first is the Old San Carlos Boulevard-Crescent Street Master Plan; the other is the Santos/Palermo Circle Planning Study. Both are available here in PDF format; these files are large because they contain all the color images from both reports. Both studies can be printed in their entirety after downloading.
