Public Hearing: Nuisance Accumulation Ordinance – This ordinance mirrors the County ordinance, except for a change in Section 3, Definitions (5) which will now allow for dense vegetative growth on vacant platted lots lying between dwelling units to be included in the definition of nuisance accumulations.
13. Public Hearing: Body Piercing Ordinance – This ordinance attempts to better deal with minors and parental permission.
14. Public Hearing: Referendum question on 3% utility tax ordinance – Possible ballot question: Shall the Town impose a three percent (3%) utility tax upon electric service and restrict the use of the revenue collected to the purchase of real property within the Town?
15.First Reading: Towing Ordinance
A. Draft regulations on towing that would become part of the Administrative Code
16. First Reading: Ordinance To Establish and Levy Ad Valorem Taxes – Same
ordinance as last year. It is required in order to finalize millage.

A. Town Appointments to Marine Resources Task Force
18. New Business
A. Interlocal Agreement on Street Maintenance – This is basically the same agreement as was entered into last year. We are not obligated to any costs under this agreement unless we request certain work from the County on a time and materials basis. We continue to have the option of using private-sector contractors where a more cost-effective result would be achieved.
B. Interlocal Agreement on Community Development – This is basically the same agreement as was entered into last year with a 3% increase in cost.
C. FPL service agreement – This agreement has been pre-approved by the Town attorney and is necessary in order to administer the street lighting district that has now been absorbed by the Town.
D. Request for undergrounding of utilities on Old San Carlos Blvd. – This involves a request by two property owners to have the Town assist them in determining cost estimates and feasibility for under-grounding utilities on Old San Carlos. The costs involved in such a project would be paid for by the affected property owners by way of an assessment.
