11. Public Hearing: Paul and Barbara Bogdanski (5200 Estero Blvd.) 97-09-294.05V - request for variance from side setback requirements
12. Public Hearing: Steer-Mill, Inc. in ref to Top O'Mast (1046 Estero Blvd.) 97-08-145.03V (continued from 10/14/97) - request for variance to allow a sign 0 feet from Estero Blvd.
13. Public Hearing: Lee County Commissioners (Community Redevelopment Agency) in ref. to Consolidated Realty Holdings, Inc. regarding Jimmy B's (1130 Estero Blvd.) 97-04-188.03V - request for variance to allow two larger signs at the entrance of the parking lot and a request to allow a sign 0 feet from Estero Blvd.
14. Final Public Hearing: Ordinance amending the Land Development Code
This ordinance addresses a number of changes to the Town Land Development Code, including but not limited to accessory apartments, commercial zoning, restaurant requirements, temporary parking, motel/hotel multipliers etc.
15. Resolution of the Florida League of Cities concerning revisions to the Florida
Constitution – This resolution supports the position of the Florida League of Cities concerning the revisions to the Florida Constitution. The position supports strengthening of constitutional municipal home rule authority.
16. New Business
A. Reschedule January 19 meeting – This meeting currently falls on a state/national holiday.
17. Town Appointments
A. LPA vacancy - The LPA ordinance states that no less than 7 nor more than 9 may serve on the LPA. As of January 1, there will be 8 members on the LPA.
