Howard Rynearson
Howard was appointed to the Town Council, Seat 3 in December of 2000 and is now serving a 4 ˝ year term. Howard's subject assignments include Public Works (drainage, utilities, transportation, trolleys, traffic, streetlights) and Tourism.
Howard is married with 3 children and 5 grandchildren. He has been a resident of Fort Myers Beach for over 30 years. He has been active in many service clubs in the community and active with the youth of Fort Myers Beach and Lee County through Little League and Babe Ruth.
Howard has been a volunteer for the town of Fort Myers Beach serving on the road committee, surveying quality of roads and drainage issues. His subject assignments include businesses, tourism, public relations and arts and entertainment. Currently he is a liaison between the Town of Fort Myers Beach and the T.D.C. and is involved with the Public Safety Task Force. Currently Howard is involved with two very important projects:
1) Widening shoulders of Estero Boulevard to provide safety for bikes and pedestrians
2) A permanent sheriff sub station, EMS and Parks and Recreation Building at Lynn Hall Park.
