Bill Thomas Bill Thomas was elected to Seat # 4 in Novemer 2001. Bill's Town Council Subject Assignments are Code Enforcement, Requests for Action ("Better Place"), Animal Services, Licensing (jetski/parasail, towing and taxi), Public Relations, Media, Beach Access Newsletter, Special Events, televised meetings, and representative to the Southwest Florida Regional Planning Council.. Bill is married to Dianne and has three children and ten grandchildren. He is a native of Rhode Island and moved to Florida in 1962. Bill is retired from thirty-five years in the travel industry. His major goal as Councilmember is to have responsible growth and maintain the quality of life on Fort Myers Beach.
