Matt Feeney Matt Feeney joined the Town’s staff as Public Services Director in October of 2003. Some of Matt’s responsibilities include: -Implementation of the Matanzas Harbor Management Plan to include: The removal of abandoned vessels Installation of the Matanzas Harbor Mooring Field Supervision of the Matanzas Harbor Mooring Field Installation of the Old San Carlos Landing/Dock -Serve as Staff Liaison to the Following Volunteer Committees: Anchorage Advisory Committee Marine Resources Task Force Newton Advisory Board Bay Oaks Advisory Board -Development of Newton Beach Park -Oversight of Canal Dredging Projects -NPDES Coordinator Matt was a Lieutenant in the United States Navy whose previous assignments include: Damage Control Assistant onboard USS THACH, FFG-43, in San Diego California and Officer in Charge of Assault Craft Unit 5 detachment Western Pacific, in Saesebo Japan. Matt has a bachelor's degree in History from the University of Notre Dame.
