MOVIE TICKETS Ticket prices for the movie screenings are $5 and are available for purchase beginning April 4th during regular business hours at Fort Myers Beach Town Hall, 2523 Estero Blvd. Tickets will be available at the Beach Movie Theater beginning April 21, 2005 (6425 Estero Boulevard). AWARDS RECEPTION Tickets to the Awards Ceremony Cocktail Reception will feature celebrity guests, filmmakers and writers are $50 and are available for purchase beginning on April 4, 2005. Join us as we celebrate the SunTrust Bank "People's Choice" Award winner! This event will take place at Diamond Head Beach Resort. This event has a limited amount of tickets available, so be sure to call early! The Reception will be held on Saturday, April 23rd, from 8:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. FILMMAKER'S LUNCHEON Tickets to the Filmmaker's luncheon (Saturday, April 23rd) are $25 and are available for purchase on April 5th, 2004. Seats are limited to this exciting question and answer session at Fort Myers Beach Town Hall. Guest speakers include Director/Producer/Writer Stanley Isaacs, Producer/Director/Writer/Visual Effects Producer Pat Corbitt and film marketing executive Cheryl Boone Isaacs. "Filmmaking How To" Workshop Learn the process of filmmaking firsthand from film industry professionals. Hollywood producers, actors, screen-writers, and directors will make guest appearances during a three-day filmmaking workshop held Thursday, April 21 to Saturday, April 23rd. The goal of this year's Fort Myers Beach Film Festival's filmmaking workshop will be a short commercial to promote next year's festival on local television. Designed for people of all ages who are interested in the process of filmmaking, the workshop teaches the overall video production process that analyzes treatment development, script construction, basic direction, location production and postproduction. The Town of Fort Myers Beach has invited Dr. Walter Hanclosky, Associate Professor of Media Arts, University of South Carolina and local videographer and teacher Efrain Diaz of Lely High School in Naples to lead three sessions held at Town Hall, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 21 and Friday, April 22. Saturday will be spent filming festival events on location, ending with the final workshop from 3 to 4:30 p.m. A fee of $60 per person includes all of the equipment needed and the major components of the filmmaking process, taught by Dr. Hanclosky, Mr. Diaz and the festival's celebrity guests. Each student will receive a copy of the final program. Seats are extremely limited for this workshop.
